  If you're the person that likes to eat or do a little shopping in peace, then this is the place for you. As I get older I find myself enjoying the quiet places instead of the busier ones.
  
  The food is dang good. Not a home run, but definitely a triple. The fresh/pre-made food is also great, their ceviche is on point.
  
  Only cons I would say is their Mexican candy isn't as fresh as a bigger place and their menudo is so so; it's cooked well, just bland. But as a market & restaurant I wouldn't expect everything to be perfect. That's why I still give it 5 star.  
  
  Again if you're in the mood for a chill Mexican place, give this one a try.

  A solid place in Citrus Heights if you're looking for Mexican food, and their carniceria looks decent. I've been here a few times when working in the area and it doesn't disappoint. The salsa verde is wonderfully spicy and adds a kick to anything you order. It's located next to the Matthews Mattress so after ordering a nice hefty Mexican feast don't be afraid to walk across the lot from there and take a snooze at the store.

  Came in tonight for a super burrito, chicken, to go. I found out that they not only sell rice and or beans as a side, but also they sell their guacamole and salsa as well. Bonus!

  Good Mexican food!  This is one of my favorite places to eat!  Location is right behind Sunrise Mall on Greenback Lane.  Very close to shopping in the area.
  
  Restaurant is clean and tables are provided to eat your meal in house.  Nice selection on the menu!  My favorite as always are the carnitas tacos!
  
  Side note: the counter around to salsa bar is clean and kept clean!  Tables are clean!  All together this is a nice place to take your date for tacos night!
  
  Staff is friendly and helpful.  There is a store next to the restaurant that offers a selection of Mexican specialty foods and items.
  
  Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely visit there again.  Enjoy!

  I stopped in to check out the menu at first, coming from Yolo county I have had the experience of some very fine Mexican food. It looked the part and when I ordered the carnitas platter with flour tortillas I was surprised to see homemade tortillas and a very large portion of meat. The beans and rice were authentic and delicious. In fact the service was quick and friendly as well. The meat was cooked so good that I ordered a lengua street taco to go to see how that came out and of course it was delicious. I've since been back three times in a couple weeks and have now made it my go to cocina for authentic and delicious Mexican food. Gracias a todos!
